21st May, 2011 was a red-letter day in the annals of the Congregation of the Franciscan Hospitaller Sisters when the Church honoured our Foundress, Mother Maria Clara do Menino Jesus and declared her Blessed. Our hearts swell with deep joy and gratitude to the Almighty for bestowing this honour on Mother Maria Clara who has been an apostle of tenderness and mercy of God.
